So I'm trying to keep up with this blogging thing and not fall off the face of the internet too much.  So first of all, some art:

On my way from usual Friday restaurant to usual Friday coffee fix, asjdhfghg there is a new tea shop open right there in front of me.  It just opened last week, there's so much stuff there.  I didn't even try to count how many different kinds they had, and it's almost all the type of tea I like (teas with spices, flowers, fruit and stuff).  Coffee Pu-erh? Check!  Vanilla Oolong?  Check! (and I made a pot and it is good!)  The sweetie got a green tea with lime and a red with all kinds of fruity stuff in it (and raisins too eew).  My friend Amelie got mint chocolate maté and a red tea with caramel as the sales lady was enthusiastically trying to sell us pretty much the whole store at once.

Of course I just ordered a bunch of tea off Mighty Leaf this morning... so uh, I basically spent waaaay too much money on tea today!  I don't feel too bad about it, since some of it was a birthday present for Nick and the rest are my favourite kinds of tea and I'll drink them all for sure! XD  I also have to stop talking about tea when I play WoW, I'm pretty sure they think I'm some kind of loony (they aren't entirely wrong, but I don't want them thinking I'm some kind of super fancy pants loony)...

My little (6'2"-ish) brother is visiting me tonight and playing Heavenly Sword on our PS3 right now.  I had forgotten how much fun it is to play, and how awesome the characters are.  ....Kind unrelated but that reminds me that I can't wait to get my grubby mitts on Uncharted and Mass Effect 2!

Yesterday was my first ever real 25-man raid!  (I've done tons of VoA but they don't count) AND IT DIDN'T SUCK! 

About half the raid was from our chat channel and half was some guild I had never met before.  I was expecting total disaster, clique-y uptight srs bsns elitists and I think they were expecting total disaster and a gang of complete noobs who couldn't tell right from left. (okay I can't tell right from left for real, but you get the idea...) I felt a little bit better when I saw their guild was called "just for fun" and in the end I think we were all surprised how smooth everything went.  Not a single wipe in 2 wings, and some nice loot too!  In fact, since everyone knew the bosses and nobody was a noob/jerk, 25-man was actually a lot easier than 10-man.  I'm not used to being the offtank though, ha! Usually being MT is getting to my head...  actually it was nice, since I would have been stressed out of my mind if I had had to main tank the whole thing with a bunch of people I didn't know.  I did pick up for the tank when Maexxna's enrage got him, and I tanked Loatheb too, so I'm pretty sure I could have done it, I just would have been panicking the whole time... I am TERRIFIED of being the cause of a wipe (or even letting dps/healers die)... and the fear is directly proportional to how many people I'm playing with and whether or not I know them well XD

Hopefully we'll be able to do the last two wings (and Sapph&KT) tonight...since tomorrow evening I'm heading back to the homestead to celebrate getting old my birthday this weekend! 

Also one of our healers (and unofficial team mother-figure) has taken tank as her 2nd spec since she's a drood, and it's so much fun to talk shop and tanking tactics with her! >:3  Go bears!

Wish I had some art to break up the nerdery...but I don't!  I *did* update the comic though!

I usually get really upset by people who do this to their websites and DA galleries (even if I'm guilty of it too) but I figured this page was in dire need of a revamp, so I nuked almost all my old entries (all my image links were broken anyway) and I'm going to give this LJ another crack.

Right now my left thumb seems to fail at life, so I'm just hoping it's not some kind of repetitive stress thing that will keep my from drawing O_o I guess other than I can't wait for this year to get started XD  Hopefully 2008 will be the year when I get over my crazzy mood swings and all that XD

omg it posts!

Yeah, I still live here, I just suck at this blogging thing XD And really, my life isn't really interesting.  Still doing contract stuff for my Illu job from home, which is isolated, but nice.  Anything that gets me away from the Stinkybus and the Montreal Morning Metro Brawl scores points with me! Other'n that...uh... Fey Winds is going great, and I'm redesigning the site too!  (hopefully my bandwidth will not implode too soon) Went to see Ratatouille and it rocked, and for some reason I'm really excited about Stardust...it's probably the airship. And the pirates. And the airship pirates!! :D I also can't wait to fill my 4-person+alt guild charter on WoW so the random guildings will stop. I don't want to heal on your damn raids.  I'm a druid because I like to shapeshift and Mangle Tank! XD Still not lvl 70 though, but we only play once or twice a week, so maybe we'll have time to get there for Northrend!
